Hi nealk2k3 Pretty sure that the Ford based Eagle chassis does not have any ID numbers and took all the deatials from the doner car. Have you tried looking on the DVLA site for details of your Eagle, see below. vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/VehicleFound?locale=enwww.check-mot.service.gov.uk/Hope the above is of some help and i am sure someone will be along soon to add more details to your question and good luck with obtaining a v5c Regards Mark

Now thats one fast SS, amazing would be nice to see a picture of the power plant sat in the engine bay.
Doors seem to fit alot better with the Lambo door conversion too but not sure about mounting them so close to the expensive front screen.
Agree with Peter perhaps it could be an option in the future when mine finally comes out of storage as nothing ventured nothing gained.

Has this car been sold and if not where can I see some pictures. Hi Kenny You can find details and advert for Annabelle's SS Eagle sale on the Eagle Owners face book page, link can be found at the top of this forum page 2nd from the right. Best be quick as i have my eyes on it as well but only if i am able to sell my Ford based SS Eagle.

Hi Annabelle
I have read your adds on the face book page and am sad to hear that you need to sell your road going SS project due to personnel circumstances.
If i did not already have my Ford based SS currently in storage waiting further restoration and other projects i would be making contact with you to arrange to purchase your VW based SS. I was looking for a couple of years for a VW SS before buying my SS to go with my Nova.
Anyway all best on your recovery and hope all goes well.
Regards Mark
PS; If anyone is interested in buying an ongoing Ford based SS project please PM or contact me through here for further details as would sell to make way for Annabelle's SS but will only sell to an enthusiast.

Now's your chance, but BIVA needed as NO PAPERWORK. So I doubt it even has details of a donor. shame I messaged seller for more details and see the advert has been updated to state no paperwork, which as you say Peter is a massive shame. The reply I got back was:- "Morning Mark No its never been registered as its still only partly built and no paperwork. It has laid in the garage untouched for 20 years. It was a project but then my husband took ill and never finished it. Thank you" Would have been interest in it but without any paperwork I will stick with my other 3 ongoing projects.

Log book. It looks like it belongs to the donor vehicle. Just looked at picture of the log book and yes your right its showing as Ford Cortina Estate, not so good. 4 minute to go SOLD for £400

I remember a red Eagle being sold quite a few months back with a V8 fitted was that yours?
There are a few Eagle SS floating about if your looking for something to do in your spare time. A nice looking Red one currently on ebay, another on face book down in the Wales area and a couple mentioned on a thread on here including a very rare 2+2.

Thats not to bad I guess is fitting straight forward ? The Eagle thats for sale on ebay doesnt seem to bad but the windscreen was putting me off Not sure about the fitting of the windscreen but auction has just over 6 hours to go with no bids. At £400 its a steal and benefits from having a log book. If I didn't already own one as well as my VW Nova and MK4 Supra I would definitely go for this one as it looks like its in very good shape. Shame I lost my workshop under a compulsory order as wouldn't have thought twice about it.

Hi Mark
Sounds like a very interesting project you have going on there.
May help advert if you able to load some pictures or a link to the project so people can see what there buying and may be a rough price guide to stop silly offers coming your way.?
Good luck with sale though.

There's a mk1 beetle based and a mk2 Ford based one. Beetle one might have been registered (though it doesn't matter much as it's a rebody), Ford one definitely has not, there's no holes for lights, pedals, steering etc... Oh yeah and they're now both sat in my front garden Nice one What plans have you got for them or did you buy first thing later? at least they haven't been trashed

Couple of questions,
Does it come with a registration document? What condition is the floor pan in? How much you looking for with or without engine? Where abouts are you?

Real shame about not being registered. What would be the challengers of getting this registered on the road as it would need to go for an SVA A positive is that the seller has said that the front screen is in good condition.
