Before Newark stopped in 2014 or so it was Stoneleigh around May 3rd, Newark around June 24th about 6 weeks between. Its great that malvern is now in early june but late September could be a bit nippy.

I would suggest as Mark says, jack it up and check it with no weight on it. I had this on my RV, it had been stood for 5 years (again) and the steering was tight, I put it on axle stands and it was still tight with the wheels off the floor. I popped the trackrod ends off the steering arms, the rack was fine as it should be as its only done a 1000 or so miles but all the top and bottom ball joints had gone stiff which were also low milage. anyway I've stripped it all down, fitted new shocks, springs and balljoints and its fine now.

Registered as a Land Rover could be a problem as it isn't one.

Stick in there pal, I admire your patience and drive. It looks like you will get there fairly soon. Also it is better to be driving on the road with a home done paint job than stuck in a garage. Thats what I did with my rv,,,,,,,, rattle can mat black lol.

I,m not local to you but all I used was decent quality 2 claw compressors, tricky but possible. I,m interested in a coilover conversion too. The pics I have seen involve strengthening the bottom wishbone and welding on lugs for the shock, also some cutting and welding at the shock top mount area and somehow maling it take a bigger mounting bolt. I guess some measurement to establish the shock closed and extended range and a guess at a spring rate. I'll email you the pics I have, its only a couple.

I think charging per meal, burger sausage bap, breakfast, or whatever is the way to go. You would be lucky to find a burger for £3 at a show Graham, more like £6. No kidding.

Just to let you guys know... I still have the White Eagle RV and it's being worked on. My current job is to repair the big holes in the floor where I cut out the old seat boxes out and mounting captive nuts underneath to help me get the seats in and out easier. That's because the whole heating/de mist, centre console/tunnel areas are being revamped and upgraded. Unfortunately I won't be taking the car to this years show. Sad face. I've had catastrophic back problems that have left me bed ridden for nearly 3 years. (who needs L3/4 and L4/5 discs anyway?!) I'm getting better though (slowly). The old Hummer type hard top ended up on the fire and I've built a new one. The old hard top had to clear the really tall roll cage and looked a bit janky. I've cut the roll cage down and made the new hard top look more factory. The roof still opens up coz' that shite is awesome. Anyway that's it. I'll see if I can get some photo's on here somehow. FYI. My Eagle RV is still the only car I own and would not trade it for the world! I LOVE driving it and it will only get better. Alan. Bloody hell Alan we have been wondering where you have been, hope your on the mend now pal. Swinging them bloody balls must have done it lol. hey pal you can always get me on 07768003496 to keep me up to date. send me your number, in a dm if you like.

Hi Bigbang, these are pretty scarce now, like rocking horse shite. All doors don't fit all roofs as they changed when they became sierra based. Of course they can be made to fit with cutting and fiberglass. I modified later doors to fit my early hardtop.
