Well it was as it always is a very enjoyable weekend. There were a few people with rv's in the build that came over for a chat, and lots of interest from the general public. George Hill has his on the road but didn't bring it as he thought there might not be room for him, how wrong that turned out to be.Peter Brown also came up for the day. My mate who usually comes with me with his trailer tent was bringinghis caravan this year but his Kuga broke down on Friday morning so he had to stay home and fix it. I rushed around, bought a bbq and called Jon Grindle and informed him I was gonna have to bunk in his trailer tent. Evening entertainment was called off and the hall closed ? not sure why. Me and Grommitt (Grindle) ended up in Leamington Spa for the second night. Good to see old and new friends again.
Top tools ? . Disc cutter, angle grinder & Mig welder. Gets the job done
So you thought your Eagle SS ( or Nova ) was hard to get out of !
Before you buy a £ 20,000 to £ 30,000 Lamborghini Countach replica ( real ones are about £ 300,000 ) ( Don't even think of building one, if you can't spare the time - like 2 to 4 years ! )

Looks families, hence the SAAB grab handles in the roof and removable wheel..
All opinions expressed are to be taken in the right spirit, Jack Danial's is fine.
Johns RV ( V6 I think ) Mark's rear transverse Lancia engine, shown because it's a good conversion. and stonemark.jpg = some attendies. Turn out ( cars ) was poor, BUT the Novas stand was empty, and just one nova in the show, somewhere else. They normally have 8 cars there : So we were not the only patch with deminshed cars.
Well said that man, Thanks ram for posting that, it will be interesting to see what transpires on the day.
Below picture is what I put on my cars It's half a sheet of A4 paper. Why yellow ? Because the most vibrant; clean; stands out; easy to read etc, is black text on yellow background.
Similar to below go on ANY cars I take to shows, and for eagle owners, it should be mandatory.
A bit too much infomation on mine, but shows, without asking, it's maintained, started regularly, and I KNOW what oil to use in a 44 year old engine, and why it has to be changed every 6 to 12 months AND it has to have oodles of zinc in it. ( Classic oil or Deisel engine oil )
Just for info. -- 1976 eagles and Lincoln Have to use none-ethanol petrol, ( Esso Synergy super unleaded 99 octane, contains A )zero: B) or E5 of 5% instead of E10 with 10% All depends on the location of the Esso station - ( Lincoln runs on 82 octaine if was available ) and zinc rich engine oil..
ethanol destroys alloy carbs and rubber, AND dont store ethanol in tank for more than 12 months because it absorbs water, which not only rots your tanks, also attacks rubber diaphrams, cork and plastic floats, and fuel lines in older cars.
see ....
And now with E10 it is even worse and even new cars are not E10 compatible, three of the latest Citroen are not E10 friendly for example. I have to clean out the carb on my Suzuki AN400 three times a years and my DelLorto DRHL 40s every time I leave the car standing.
