Comon' guys, some projects haven't posted in months so what's the problem?
I can understand holiday season, really bad weather and family stuff get in the way but surly someone has done something?
There have been quite a few 'ambitious' projects in the past that seem to have disappeared completely.
The 'Lotus SS', the 'MG TF SS', the couple of garden finds, including the one dug out from by a wall, last heard of the rear end was removed for ease of engine removal. The V8 RV, the Diahatsu RV. The Freelander RV.

I have just bought a few bits and bobs to get the RV project moving again. Problem is, my Triumph takes priority. Next job on that is new fork seals. Next job on the RV is some fibreglass fabrication. Would love to think that the RV will be under way again in a couple of months, but we'll see. The windscreen frame was a complete mess on the RV, so it's now been completely removed. I have to repair the top of the body tub where the frame was screwed on. It will then be fitted with a brand new, hinged, Jeep CJ7 one, which I now have. John

I am back on my project again finally. Just sorting the brakes and fuel lines at the moment.

I'm still working away, just found a new ss body that's never been used so there's pretty much no fibreglass work left for me to do, just refurbishing subframes and finding an engine and box to go in

I'm still working away, just found a new ss body that's never been used so there's pretty much no fibreglass work left for me to do, just refurbishing subframes and finding an engine and box to go in I would love to be in that situation. a good virgin shell and a 'Ford' chassis. So many possibilities with just the chassis sat there, all empty. Of course any in-line engine gearbox unit can be made to fit (But I would recommend a max of 120hp to be enjoyable.rather that scary). Nice BMW E36 auto springs to mind. Daimler sovereign rear end, (narrower than Jag version) and you have a nice set up. But endless options, even Subaru 4x4.

My car has previously registered so I don't have to worry about an iva though I do have to stick to the 8 point rule, so no modifying the chassis unfortunately. The plan is pretty tame, the usual upgrades and a cologne v6 if I can source the engine mounts. It's being built to be comfortable rather than sporty, though I'd love to make it as sporty as possible, but it's not practical on the current chassis. However I do have 3 body shells now so that might be a plan for the future. For now though a 2.9 cologne attached to a rx8 6 speed is the plan, the six cylinder is mostly there to provide a nice burble than performance.
