For brake lines you can make your own with a simple flaring tool set £31.45 +post and what I would go for myself if on a budget but if not I would buy the better flaring tool; tinyurl.com/ne3c8g2 as I have, 100% every time, the bar type tend to slip in the clamp but for a one off job the cheaper set is OK. (try this; tinyurl.com/mfd2eqz)Or if you have tools; tinyurl.com/l7ltauoReady made you are looking at about £80 a full set, did I make my own? Dam right I did. It isn't difficult to flare your own and you can practice on a 2" off cut until you get it right before tackling the right length. Set of 4 braided pipes about £50 +post and highly recommended but make sure you get the right ones, for year and brake set up, (drum/disc etc).

I replaced all my SS bushes with standard rubber ones. havent tried polybushes. the reason I did that is that one of my friends is right into mk3 Cortinas and he said a polybushed Cortina feels far too harsh. so I reckoned the much lighter SS body would be worse. just my feelings but I dont fancy driving a car thats going to rattle my teeth out :-)

Poly all round, front, rear, engine and roll bar, only thing I haven't changed (yet) is the gear shaft coupling, BUT I am going to Stones , all a lot tighter and of course maintenance free

How do i know what mk the suspension is from? The only difference I can see is the mk3 has a 16mm roll bar and the mk4 & mk5 have a 18mm roll bar.

Huge improvement, just the way I like it, every part cleaned and painted or polish before assembly. make a big difference to the finished job, well done.
