definitely been registered H such a shame as so near completion and abandoned for a mundane BMW Eurobox too.

You mean not been registered? That's what the guy reckons - he has no info to suggest it's ever been on the road. And how the hell do you know he drives a Bee-emm?!!!

I reckon it's been registered at sometime in it's life. Why would anyone put a tax disc holder on the windscreen if there has never been a disc to put in it???

D'oh! The license sticker! I was thinking Peter had special powers! (Tho' of course, he does...)
I did get a reply from the seller and he is pretty certain that the fellow who sold it to him never had it on the road; as far as he's concerned, it's an unfinished kit.
I told him where to find the chassis number - they are all on the top of the front bumper where the main chassis member joins, aren't they (or is that just mine!)?
I also mentioned it would be worth a lot more if it had been properly registered, so hopefully he'll make some effort to find out.

Usually on the inside of the top angle, left side near the top strut mount in most cases, If you look to the right of the distributor you will see the plate with two pop rivets. I guess one could use it as a chassis number, I know a few have. Bee Em, lucky guess? Clue two, under the yellow area where the number plate light was, are two screws for a NUMBER PLATE.

D'oh! And double-d'oh!
I've asked the guy to look at the under-bonnet chassis member too, telling him that we may be able to find a reg number if it's on the database. And emphasising that it moves the car into a completely different category (not that it'll still sell...)
(What's that oldie-grilled car in the barn?!)

I think that looks like a London black cab.
