Greetings Fellow Eagle owners, I am in need of advise please, this Eagle SS I have purchased the person who built it ( I think it was Steve Wonder) has made a hell of a mess of it. for some reason they tried to fit pollycarbon sheeting to cover the headlights they had fitted, all the Eagle cars I have seen on the web have pop up lights, I would prefer to take this car back to what it should be rather than fit tacky head lights. Does any one know were I can get the kit to install pop up lights?. If you can help I will put you in my will ( I will leave you all my Bills) Mike Newton tyranical tutor

Hi Mike, for not jumping on this thread earlier, especially as I am said to be the 'SS techie guy'. The SS headlights which are the most conspicuous difference between the SS and it's 'father' the Cimbria from the States and are a direct copy of the Porsche 928 units. fitted to a cross bar and operated by a windscreen wiper motor mounted on the right side of the boot with limit switches on the other side of the motor bracket, it varies, standard 7" units are used with chrome rims. As to where you will find them is a case of pot luck if someone is breaking a SS, Someone on here made a pair and may still have the moulds, the original moulds have disappeared to Wexford in Ireland, Each 'shell' is in two parts with a vertical joint and mounted onto the bar with two exhaust U clamps. Now then everyone, who was it and where is that thread? AH HA! chrisbailey changes his SS to Toyota so he may still have the original units, I have PM him.
