MOT passed today, straight though no problems at all. Took it to get a little more fuel ready for some more miles. The breather/header tank has cracked and is letting water escape when under pressure so have too wait until Tuesday for a new one.

Somewhat more than 'slightly improved' I'd say, very, very nice, lift the whole area.

Uncovered the rv yesterday put battery on charge just to wake up the cells a bit. Third turn of the key she started, running great did all the usual checks everything checked out so went out for a short blast, came home checked all again all super so out for a longer run this time soft top off. Mot due so now need to get it booked in. But it's looking good for another year.

That's great Gary. I actually did a little to mine today. Problem is, the more I look, the more I see stuff that needs attention. I reckon I'm going to have to bite the bullet and lift the body off the chassis. I can't get my head round what needs disconnecting. I'm guessing: Steering shaft, Handbrake cables, clutch and throttle cables, wiring harness and brake pipes to the master cylinder.
Any more information, will be gratefully received.

Hi John Yes that is about it for the items to remove but not forgetting that the roll bar also has to be unbolted.
There's bound to be some small thing that you forget anyway, we all do 😁

Yep, I just remembered the fuel filler neck! I'm probably going to fit a re-designed roll bar, so that's coming out, anyway. I'm also thinking, if I pull the body off, I might space it up a couple of inches. I guess that might entail lengthening the steering shaft, but won't really know until I mock it up.
